Osteopath’s use hands on treatment, postural advice, exercise advice and personalised rehabilitation programmes to help relieve your symptoms and get you back on the road to recovery.

Our main aim is always to eliminate your pain in the shortest time possible, but we also want to keep it that way. To successfully achieve this, we take a detailed case history helping us to understand the underlying cause of your symptoms and the circumstances which lead to them occurring in the first place.

Before every treatment, we build a detailed picture of you based on yout past or present illnesses, current medication, injuries and lifestyle. Together with a detailed history, palpation, and various examinations, helping us understand the source of the problem and choose an appropriate treatment method, rather than simply treating the symptoms.

We take into consideration the impact of external factors such as lifestyle, occupation and hobbies, we assess related structures in the body to determine their potential impact, and finally, we take into account any broader medical conditions that me be contributing to your symptoms.

Once we’re confident with our diagnosis and any associated causes, we are able to tailor our treatment and management to suit your specific needs.

Our Osteopathic treatment may include:
▪ Soft tissue massage
▪ Deep tissue massage
▪ Joint manipulation
▪ Joint articulation
▪ Prescribe rehabilitation programmes to suit your specific requirements and lifestyle
▪ Posture and gait correction
▪ Bowen Therapy
